Test your technical prowess with our Miniature Drone Challenge! Design a drone that can pick up and place objects in designated spots within the arena. Teams must complete the task quickly and efficiently to claim victory.

Experience the extraordinary within the ordinary as science illuminates the wonders in everyday routines through the set up organized by the budding students of 6-8 classes of TMS119!

Create your soccer bots to compete in a thrilling face-off. Outscore your opponents and secure the victory by scoring goals. The team with the highest points at the end of the match wins!

Step up for the Pick and Place Race! Navigate a track while picking up objects and placing them in designated spots. The fastest and most efficient team wins the challenge!

In this event, participants will build their own electric RC cars and take on a track full of twists, turns, and obstacles. You must finish the race as fast as possible while staying in control throughout.

Non-Robotic Events

These diverse events represent the techfest’s intellectual core, challenging human intellect rather than machines. Spanning deep theoretical science, intricate coding, research, and critical discourse, they prioritize logic and creativity, celebrating the human mind as the ultimate innovative engine.

This quiz is designed to challenge participants’ logical reasoning , and problem-solving skills.

This competitive event highlights the “magic” that science is akin to via various exhibits set up by students, displaying various principles of science in fun and interactive styles.

An engaging event that blends creativity and technology through game design and play by focus on the creation and development of games by participating teams 

 design and construct a robot using sustainable materials. The robot must comprise 60% e-waste

A debate competition centered on the theme of STEM and sustainability, encouraging participants to explore innovative solutions for a better future.

Shubhanshu Shukla

Indian test pilot

Shubhanshu Shukla AC is a group captain in the Indian Air Force (IAF) and gaganyatri (astronaut) with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Commissioned into the IAF in June 2006, he piloted a range of fighter aircraft, and served as a test pilot later. In 2019, he was one of the four men identified to be trained for the Gaganyaan mission of the ISRO, the Indian human spaceflight programme. In July 2025, he became the first Indian to visit the International Space Station as a part of the Axiom Mission 4, a privately organised spaceflight. He is the second Indian to travel to outer space, after Rakesh Sharma in 1984. In 2026, he was awarded the Ashoka Chakra, the highest peacetime Indian military decoration.

B.A. SUBRAMANI

Station Director at ISRO

Currently he’s holding the post of ‘Station Director’ of ISRO’s Upagrah Amateur Radio Club. He joined ISRO in the year 1984 & was working as a ’Space Simulation Engineer’ in the area of Space Environmental Simulation Test Facilities. Since then, he has involved in conducting space environmental simulation tests on all the spacecrafts right from SROSS till the recent Chandrayaan-1, Mars Orbiter Mission & Chandrayaan-2, at various stages & levels of their construction like sub-system, system & Spacecraft level. He is also active through various Amateur Radio Satellites, besides being a vivid High Frequency contester. He has bagged many appreciations & awards. The notable one being, the Trans-India Contest winning first place consecutively for five years.

MS. PRAGYA NOPANY

founder of BVN-IAPT ANVESHIKA

Pragya Nopany, the founder and coordinator of BVN-IAPT ANVESHIKA, was mentored by Dr. H C Verma, a distinguished former physics professor at IIT K. She has organized more than 400 hands-on workshops in physics and science for students and educators across India. By participating in Teachers Training programs by various renowned institutions such as Vigyan Prasar, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, DAV network of schools, DPS Society, Miranda House, Ashoka University, and more, she has built a strong network of teachers in Delhi/NCR as valuable assets.She was part of a National Focus Group led by NCERT to evaluate science education and environmental learning in India. As a subject matter expert for NCERT textbooks and MOOCs on the Swayam portal, Govt. of India.
